About Rosaire en Famille

A Catholic ministry serving families: pray, grow in faith and remain united in Christ.

“The family that prays together stays together. »
Venerable Patrick Peyton, C.S.C.

Who are we

Rosaire en Famille is the face of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) in Burkina Faso. We are a Catholic ministry dedicated to the spiritual life of homes, in the tradition of the Congrégation de Sainte-Croix.

Our mission is clear: to inspire, promote and support family prayer — particularly the Rosary — so that each home becomes a true domestic Church, a place of peace, forgiveness and hope.

In a world where families are often rushed, scattered or tested, we believe that fifteen minutes of shared prayer can transform a home. This is the heart of our commitment to parents, children, young people and parishes.

Vénérable Patrick Peyton

Our heritage: the Venerable Patrick Peyton

Venerable Patrick Peyton, priest of Sainte-Croix and “priest of the Rosary,” dedicated his life to one belief: when families pray together, they stay united — and the world finds a path to peace.

Having himself experienced the power of the Rosary during a serious illness, he mobilized millions of people around the world through radio, cinema and large prayer gatherings.

Today, Holy Cross Family Ministries pursues this dream on several continents. In Burkina Faso, Rosaire en Famille is the local expression: faithful to Mary, close to families, and resolutely turned towards hope.

“A world in prayer is a world at peace. »

What we do

Our action is concrete, pastoral and family. It is rooted in prayer and extends to the life of the local Church.

Animation of the Rosary

Family prayer evenings, shared decades, accompaniment of parish groups and homes who begin to pray together.

Support for families

Spiritual support for parents, awareness among children and young people, and encouragement to make the home a place of living faith.

Training

Prayer guides, mysteries of the Rosary, simple tools for praying even with little time — adapted to the reality of Burkinabè families.

Parish mission

Collaboration with priests, catechists and Church movements to strengthen family prayer in communities.

Our values

Everything we do is based on deep convictions, received from the Gospel and the Marian tradition of our founder.

Catholic faith

We serve the Church with fidelity, in communion with the pastors and the Magisterium.

Centrality of the family

The family is the first school of love. We are helping it to become a domestic Church.

Marian devotion

With Mary, we lead homes to Jesus. The Rosary is our privileged path.

Simplicity

We offer accessible gestures: a decade, an intention, a reunited family.

Hope

We believe that a praying home becomes a source of peace for the Church and for society.

Mission Rosaire en Famille

A ministry of Congrégation de Sainte-Croix

Holy Cross Family Ministries is a ministry of Congrégation de Sainte-Croix. Present in many countries, HCFM unites mission centers around the same vocation: spiritually nourishing the domestic Church.

At Burkina Faso, Rosaire en Famille is part of this global network while serving local realities — languages, cultures, parishes and family needs. Our desire is humble and great at the same time: that no family is left alone on the path of prayer.
